Divorce Recovery Coaching (cont.)

working with a supportive coach can be very beneficial.  With a coach, you’re guaranteed confidentiality, compassion, understanding and support.  You’ll have someone on your side to help deal with and manage your emotions, sort through relationship issues, set goals and build a solid foundation for the next phase of your life.

Often times, after a breakup or divorce, feelings of loneliness set in.  At some level you might be relieved that a bad situation is finally over - but just as daunting might be addressing “What’s next?”  At Kansas City LifeCoaches we address this and other questions in a slightly nontraditional way.

Rather than start with “What’s next?”, we’ll help you articulate “What’s now?” In other words, you’ll get a clear picture of who you are, what’s important to you, what you want, and where you’re heading, BEFORE getting started on the journey.  Let’s face it - most relationships are about give and take.  That’s a good thing when the relationship works out.  Having just gone through a divorce, it’s important for you to be a bit selfish and know what YOU want, not what your former spouse wanted.  On occasion it’s hard to tell what you wanted, what he/she wanted, if you are still living his/her dream, or creating your own.  For those reasons, and many others, we’ll start with YOU.  Focus on YOU will bring to light what you want - then we can begin moving forward.

I’ve built the Divorce Recovery Coaching offering on two rock-solid processes.  The first is how people mourn and recover from loss.  Different people will handle loss differently and will take different amounts of time to process what is happening.  We’ll work at your pace to address the hard questions and get you moving again.

During the coaching process, we’ll work on changing aspects of your life that will carry you forward.  Using a process of how people change, we’ll work together so you’ll see the world differently, think differently, and make changes in your life that take you where you want to go.

When the coaching process is added to the mix, unbelievable results are possible!  Wherever you are in regards to your divorce, you deserve to have the life of your dreams.  But dreams need not be dreams - they can become your reality!

To find out if coaching might be right for you, contact us for a confidential discussion of coaching, possible outcomes, and how you can move forward faster than you ever thought possible!
